Biography of Dom DeLuise
Dom DeLuise was an American actor, comedian, film director, television producer, and writer.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, into a family of Italian-Americans. After completing school, DeLuise enrolled in Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
Early Career
DeLuise mainly played comedic roles, but he initially gained recognition as a versatile actor.
His first acting job was as a regular cast member on the TV show "The Entertainers" in 1964. He gained attention for his supporting role in the film "The Glass Bottom Boat," and later appeared in "The Magic School Bus."
