Yoshihiko Noda was born on May 20, 1957, in the city of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

He was the Prime Minister of Japan from September 2011. Noda was a member of the Democratic Party of Japan and served as the Minister of Finance from 2010 to 2011 and as the Deputy Minister of Finance from 2009 to 2010.
